COMMANDER, BELIZE DEFENCE FORCE CHRISTMAS MESSAGE

The year 2013 has been fructuous for the Belize Defence Force and may we all work towards a better 2014

as we continue to engage in meaningful relationship with the Government of Belize and our Regional and International Partners.  With the support of our Government and International Partners, the Belize Defence Force has in turn been able to achieve and maintain its commitments.

Through your specific tasks and responsibilities each and everyone of you have contributed to the nation of Belize.  Thus, the beauty and grace of seeing a smile on the recipient's face; the warmth of knowing that somebody has benefited from your generosity; the satisfaction that Belize, our jewel is a much better place from you giving.  While many of us are truly blessed to be home with our family during the Christmas break, let us not forget our brother and sisters who will be out on operations to continue to protect our borders and citizens of Belize.  Let us also remember all those who continue to recuperate from injuries and other illness.  May all have a festive Christmas Season and a prosperous New Year 2014.
